The requirement of tactical ship combat eliminates a number of games listed like Galactic Civilization and Endless Space. You also wanted tactical ship combat like Starships. This is just my recommendation, and I am saying there is an 85% chance GOG will observe May 4th since Steam did a few times and many TV stations do too. When those games came out less than a month ago on GOG I had to buy Galactic Battlegrounds immediately, but I'm waiting for May 4th this year which is like what 6 weeks away from time of this post so I can literally add every Star Wars game to my cart and get mucho discount. But now GOG just pretty much got access to every Star Wars game ever made including the old Tie Fighter and XWing games, KOTR 1+2, Battlefront 2, Republic Commando, Galactic Battlegrounds + expansion. Past few years available Star Wars games went on sale around May 4th on Steam and whatnot. $15 there on GOG but remember May 4th is Star Wars day.
